    Close-up of forward 5" twin gun and the three Hedgehog projectors.  The forward hedgehog is a Mark 15 trainable unit and is flanked on each side of the bridge house with two Mark 11 fixed units. A full hedgehog launch produced a elliptical pattern roughly 600 feet wide.
    In the background a helicopter is hovering above the USS Nautilus, the US Navy's first nuclear-powered submarine.
